Meta Therapy

Meta-Therapy (medical and aesthetic tissue activation therapy) is a new method to answer the questions “how to moisturise, renew the skin, fight the signs of ageing, what to do to make facial, facial, expression and forehead wrinkles disappear?” and so on. Meta-Therapy is a procedure that you can do in our clinic and achieve optimal and visible changes.

How does Meta Therapy work?

Using the Dermatude Meta-Ject FX 50 device and a handheld controller with integrated ultra-fine needles, micro-perforations are made in the skin. A needle imprint with 18 micro-needles at a speed of 100-120 injections per second creates thousands of micro-perforations. This needle impression with flexible head technology and a wavy impression surface ensures that the needles penetrate evenly even if the skin surface is uneven. The skin accepts these microperforations as skin damage and activates the skin’s natural repair process. In this way, the production of collagen and elastin is stimulated. During the treatment, the skin is also exposed to active ingredients that act in a very precise and specific way, according to the skin type and the purpose of the treatment.

The right depth

Precise and appropriate needle length is essential to achieve optimal results. Meta-Therapy perforates the basal cell layer, which is located in the upper layer of the dermis. Activation of this layer stimulates the production of collagen and elastin without compromising the development of subcutaneous scars.

Meta-Therapy is a completely safe procedure

Meta Therapy is the safest and most natural of the invasive treatments to combat skin ageing. An advanced digital device with precision controls and a patented needle module guarantees optimal results without the risk of skin damage or scarring. Disposable needle modules with a protective membrane prevent cross-contamination. Leading dermatologists around the world recognise that Meta Therapy is a safe and effective procedure.

Meta-therapy procedure

Step 1: Assessment
The Dermatude Meta Therapy specialist will provide you with all the information about the procedure and will complete the “Informed Consent” form with you.

Step 2: Treatments.
2.1 – Full Face Treatment:
This treatment is performed on the whole face or on specific areas of the face. The aim is to improve the condition of the skin and to combat skin ageing. The Flex Head technology and the wavy surface of the imprint ensure an even distribution of the depth of all the needles, regardless of the unevenness of the skin to be treated. The result: after a course of Meta-Therapy, your complexion will be firmer, more beautiful, more elastic and younger looking. Immediately after the treatment, your skin may be slightly red, but this will disappear within a few hours. You will be able to go back to work or carry out your normal daily activities immediately after the treatment. You will be able to apply make-up the next day.

2.2 – Treatment for individual wrinkles:
In addition to improving the condition of the entire face, Meta Therapy is also ideal for treating wrinkles. A 9-needle set is used to reduce deep wrinkles, while a 7-needle set is used for fine lines. Thanks to the special technology used, the skin under the wrinkle is activated.

The results: connective tissue is produced which fills the wrinkle from the inside. Again, this is a completely natural skin process. No fillers are injected into the skin during the procedure and no facial muscles or nerves are blocked. However, special serums are used to accelerate the skin’s natural processes and achieve even better results.

Step 3: Monitoring results
You can choose to have skin improvement and rejuvenation treatments for the whole face, neck and décolleté, as well as for specific areas or specific wrinkles. You can even combine several treatments to achieve the best results.

Dermatude active ingredients
Dermatude treatments use active ingredients. Dermatude actives are very special serums with active ingredients that penetrate the deeper layers of the skin during the treatment. The actives directly reach the living cells of the skin, triggering cell renewal, and can therefore be called skin renewers.

Extreme Lifting Complex active ingredients
Extreme Lifting Complex active ingredients contain vitamins A, C and E. Vitamin A has been scientifically proven to stimulate skin cell production. Vitamin C protects skin cells and Vitamin E repairs them.

Active Hydra Booster active ingredients
The hyaluronic acid in Active Hydra Booster is present in the skin. The moisturising effect of hyaluronic acid ensures that the skin’s moisture balance is restored and that very dry, dull skin is radiant again.

Dermatude skin care
In order to achieve optimal results, Dermatude introduces its eponymous skin care products, which, when used at home, prolong the effects of Meta Therapy. Dermatude creams contain the same ingredients as the active ingredients used during the treatment. All you need is one cream, either Extreme Lifting Complex or Active Hydra Booster, which acts as both a day and night cream.

Extreme Lifting Complex cream
Do you feel that over time, the number of wrinkles on your forehead, forehead and eyes also increases? To tighten your skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, you should use Extreme Lifting Complex Cream. Rich in vitamins A, C and E, this cream is designed for daytime and nighttime skin care. Vitamin A rejuvenates mature skin; vitamin C protects and neutralises free radicals and vitamin E is a key antioxidant that helps to delay the external effects of ageing.

Active Hydra Booster Cream
If you suffer from dry skin, you may not have enough collagen or hyaluronic acid in your skin. For this reason, you should use Active Hydra Booster Cream, which is based on hyaluronic acid. The cream is designed for day and night skin care. Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of connective tissue that is able to increase up to 30 times in water, which makes the skin appear thicker and fuller.

Q: How long will it take for my skin to recover and for me to be able to apply make-up?
Meta Therapy allows you to enjoy the results and benefits of a combination of deep treatment techniques. After other deep treatments, you may have to wait a considerable time for your skin to fully recover. However, unlike other treatments, Meta Therapy does not damage the skin’s protective barrier. There may be some redness after the treatment, but this will subside within a few hours. Back to da

Which areas can be treated with Meta Therapy?
Meta Therapy treatments can be performed on specific areas of the skin up to the entire face, neck and cleavage area, or highly targeted treatments can be performed on specific areas or wrinkles.

What should be the interval between treatments?
Treatments always start with a course of four weekly treatments, followed by four treatments every two weeks. This is followed by periodic maintenance treatments to maintain the results achieved. A full face treatment takes approximately 30-45 minutes. The treatment to combat individual wrinkles takes about 20 minutes.

What are the differences between Needle Roller and Meta Therapy?
A needle roller is a cylinder with needles that is rolled over the surface of the skin. The face is not a flat plain, but has round and uneven areas. Therefore, not all the needles of the roller penetrate the skin at the same depth. How hard the roller is pressed is also important. When the pressure is too high, the needles penetrate too deeply, which can cause tissue damage and hardening of the skin. But if the pressure is too low, the injections would not be deep enough for the procedure to be truly effective. The needle roller also performs far fewer microdermabrasions because it has a limited number of needles. It is also not possible to use it to perform a targeted procedure on specific wrinkles.

Why should I choose Meta Therapy over the needle roller procedure?
The advantage of Meta Therapy compared to the needle roller is that it not only activates the cell’s regenerative process, but also delivers the active ingredients into the skin before it closes. In addition, the procedure is much more precise and precise. The microdots ensure precise depth and distance and are much denser. At least 1 800 microdots are applied to the skin in one second in a completely painless way. During the procedure, the active ingredients are distributed into the skin. Meta-Therapy can also treat specific wrinkles using special modules.

What is the difference between Mesotherapy and Meta Therapy?
Deep skin treatments are much more effective and achieve much better results than superficial treatments. Mesotherapy uses only one needle. Injections of active substances are given in specific areas, but the depth and distance are difficult to control. Due to these larger distances and the limited number of injections, Mesotherapy does not activate the skin’s natural renewal process. It also does not sufficiently activate the production of collagen and elastin.

Why should I choose Meta Therapy over Mesotherapy?
Meta Therapy belongs to the category of deep (invasive) treatments and combines all the benefits of different treatments into one technique. Another advantage of Meta Therapy is that the use of active substances goes hand in hand with the natural renewal of skin cells. The entire skin is completely painlessly exposed to eighteen micro-needles injected into the skin at a high speed, making approximately 1800 pricks per second. In this way, no area of skin is left untouched. Thanks to very precise depth control, Meta Therapy treatments always reach the most necessary and important layers of skin cells.

What is the difference between Microdermabrasion (Micro injections) and Meta Therapy?
A needle injection motor is essential for the best results. The micro-injection pencil has an analogue motor. It does not have a regulator that adjusts the frequency of the needles according to the resistance of the skin, resulting in uneven perforation of the skin. The density of the micro-needles is also very important. Microneedle tips have fewer needles, resulting in a lower perforation density. Also, the needles do not have deflection control, so this causes oscillations and the needles can even bend, causing serious damage to the skin. For this reason, the perforations performed are very inaccurate.

Why is the correct needle length so important?
In most microdermabrasion techniques for mature skin treatments, the needles used are too long to penetrate the deeper layer of the dermis. This can risk irreparable damage to the subcutaneous layer. This would be similar to scarring in the case of second-degree burns. The skin then loses its flexibility, elasticity and hardens. For the best effect, the correct needle length is essential. Meta-Therapy perforates the basal cell layer, which, when activated, improves the production of collagen and elastin, without any risk of subcutaneous scarring. Meta Therapy is therefore much more effective and safer and there are no short-term or long-term adverse effects with repeated treatments.
