Mesotherapy for the face

Facial mesotherapy. What is it?

Facial mesotherapy is a medically invasive treatment and correction procedure in which various mixtures of active ingredients are injected into the skin of the face. Depending on the patient’s needs, age and skin condition, the preparations may contain hyaluronic acid, amino acids, enzymes, vitamins, antioxidants and other substances. These preparations stimulate skin renewal, blood circulation and lymphatic flow. Fibroblast activity is also activated and the walls of blood vessels are strengthened. All these processes ensure the natural renewal of the skin. Mesotherapy can immediately improve the condition of tired, puffy skin. This procedure can also be very effective in treating hyperpigmentation and acne. Mesotherapy is one of the most effective treatments for wrinkles

Mesotherapy is the perfect choice if you want to have healthy and glowing skin, using systemically acting products that nourish the skin from within. Mesotherapy for the face is a treatment that deeply hydrates, nourishes, heals and renews the skin. This procedure has many advantages as it is one of the most effective aesthetic procedures.

Benefits of Mesotherapy for the face:

  • Visibly improves the appearance of the skin. Mesotherapy is the perfect procedure for those who want a glowing complexion on the face and neck. This procedure brightens the skin, evens out skin colour, improves skin tone and stimulates skin cell regeneration. Smoothes out fine lines and wrinkles. Mesotherapy restores the skin’s moisture balance, making it look firm and healthy and radiant;
  • Provides the skin with vitamins and other nutrients. Vitamins, serums and combinations of effective substances are micro-injected into your skin to reach much deeper tissues, making them much more effective than serums and creams;
  • Helps address redness, pigmentation, acne, oily and porous skin;
  • Applies to dark under-eye circles, under-eye bags;
  • Enhances the volume, contour and colour of the lips;
  • Protects skin cells from the damaging effects of free radicals.

Facial mesotherapy process

During the procedure, microinjections are administered into the facial skin using an ultra-thin needle to inject various mixtures of active agents into the upper layers of the skin. The biologically active agents penetrate to a depth of 0.5-1.0 mm and directly affect specific areas of the face. If necessary, the injection site is anaesthetised with an anaesthetic cream. Depending on the area where the procedure is performed, it takes between 30 and 60 minutes. To achieve an optimal and high quality result, a minimum of 3-5 treatments are required, spaced 7-15 days apart, depending on the condition of the skin and the desired result. After a course of mesotherapy, maintenance treatments are recommended.

Preparing for the procedure

First of all, of course, the dermatologist carries out a thorough analysis of the skin condition and decides which composition of active ingredients should be used for mesotherapy. It is recommended to avoid aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for a week before the procedure. These painkillers can increase the risk of bleeding and bruising during mesotherapy. It is also recommended that patients undergo a deep cleansing of the face one week prior to the treatment in order to improve the absorption of the active ingredients and to achieve a more effective result.

After mesotherapy it is not possible to:

12 hours after the procedure, use of decorative cosmetics on the face;
Visit the sauna, sauna, swimming pool, or exercise vigorously for a week after the procedure;
You should also avoid active sun exposure for a week after the procedure and use a protective face cream with SPF 50.

Mesotherapy is not applied to the face:

  • In case of pregnancy, breastfeeding;
  • If the patient is intolerant to any of the active ingredients;
  • In case of blood clotting disorders;
  • In case of epilepsy;
  • After surgery;
