Mediderma chemical peel is a highly effective deep cleansing treatment for skin cell renewal, treatment of youthful acne, elimination of acne scars, smoothing of the skin texture, and promotion of skin regeneration. It also stimulates the synthesis of collagen and elastin, stimulates the skin’s regeneration processes and strengthens the skin’s immunity, making it suitable for older women and men who want to beautify or rejuvenate their facial skin.
The treatment uses soluble and gel acids which have strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Facial cleansing removes the top layer of the skin, promotes cell regeneration and stimulates skin renewal. Acids promote the healing of acne, prevent the blockage of sebaceous ducts and the formation of new pimples, stimulate the sebaceous glands, and cleanse the pores. For a better effect, the treatment includes mechanical cleansing of clogged pores. This clears up blackheads and pimples, smoothes the skin’s pores and reduces inflammation.
Procedure:
Demakeup – removes make-up residue, dirt and excess oil from the skin. Acid peel – a layer of acid peel is applied for a few minutes. 1-4 layers can be applied per treatment. The scrub removes dead skin cells and deeply cleanses the complexion. Mechanical facial cleansing – removes blackheads, clogged pores. Facial mask – acid is wiped off and a mask is applied if needed – soothes, protects, nourishes and restores the skin’s protective barrier (individually selected). Facial cream according to the client’s skin type (selected individually).
Who is the treatment for?

Course of treatments:
A course of 3-5 treatments is recommended, every 10-20 days (depending on the skin problem). The treatment can be performed as a single treatment. Upon arrival at the clinic, the aesthetician will assess your skin problems and recommend the appropriate course of treatment.
When can I not have the treatment?
- If you have used the anti-acne treatment isotretinoid medication Reaccutane in the last 12 months.
- In case of local infection.
- Diabetes.
- Haemophilia.
- HIV.
- Keloid scars.
- Same day after a sunbathing treatment or a visit to a solarium.
- Same day after depilation.
After a procedure:
- Do not go to the sauna for two days.
- Avoid the sun and the solarium (depending on the acid used), as additional pigmented spots may appear: if arginic, ferulic or azelaic acids have been used, it is sufficient to avoid the sun for 1 day and use a cream with SPF 25; if salicylic, almond, pyruvic or glycolic acids have been used, it is sufficient to avoid the sun for 7 days and to use a cream with SPF 50 (the aesthetician will inform you about your post-treatment care during the treatment).
- Do not use make-up after the treatment.
- Do not use cosmetic products that have not been tested and have never been used before.
