Photorejuvenation is a facial rejuvenation procedure recommended for women over the age of 30 or with particularly problematic facial skin. It is likely that more than one woman in her thirties will say that her skin has become less elastic and less radiant, that she is bothered by broken capillaries or enlarged pores, and that pigment spots and wrinkles are becoming more and more noticeable. These are the problems we are targeting.
Photorejuvenation treatments can be of two types.
The first type of photorejuvenation removes dilated capillaries and pigment spots on the skin.
The second type of photorejuvenation treats the deeper layers of the skin, thereby reducing fine lines, improving skin turgor and tightening pores.
For maximum effect, we suggest that women undergo several treatments, usually 4-5.
The effects of the photorejuvenation procedure are felt immediately. After a few days, you will notice a reduction in the number of dilated capillaries and a smoother complexion. However, the final result will only be visible after some time or even after several treatments.
The advantage of photorejuvenation is that it is not an invasive procedure and you can go home or to work immediately afterwards, with only a slight reddening of the skin after the procedure.
Photorejuvenation is not performed if:
- your face is tanned;
- a tendency to scarring.
Sunbathing is not recommended for one week after the photorejuvenation procedure.
Before the photorejuvenation procedure, the doctor examines the facial skin, discusses the possible effectiveness of the procedure, the number of treatments required, and sometimes performs a test to assess the sensitivity of the facial skin and the skin’s reaction to the procedure.
