In our clinic, professional specialists perform hyaluronic acid injections to reduce wrinkles.
Hyaluronic acid is one of the main components of human connective tissue and can absorb water like a sponge. This keeps the skin moist, maintains the volume of the skin tissues and keeps the skin firm. Over time, the skin is exposed to the sun and air pollution, the skin’s ability to produce hyaluronic acid and maintain moisture levels decreases, and collagen and elastin fibres lose their structure, leading to the formation of wrinkles.
In our clinic, we use hyaluronic acid fillers from renowned companies such as Allerga (Juvederm Ultra), Genethia (Haequeo) and Filorga for wrinkle correction. The latest technologies used in the production of these products have made it possible to create a hyaluronic acid that is extremely elastic, so that the filler is evenly distributed in the skin. Hyaluronic acid is a safe, well-tolerated, long-dissolving formulation. As a result, allergic reactions and other known source phenomena (e.g. formation of granulomas) are generally not observed.
During the procedure, the filler is injected into the skin, increasing the volume of the skin at the site and smoothing or reducing wrinkles. Before the procedure, the injection area is lubricated with an anaesthetic cream.
The effects are felt immediately after the procedure. The duration of the effect depends on individual characteristics such as age, skin texture, lifestyle and lasts about a year.
